Terms of Use

Important: HVAC FINDER is a marketing and matching service. We are not an HVAC contractor, utility, engineer, inspector, manufacturer, or emergency service and do not diagnose, install, maintain, finance, or warrant HVAC work.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of HVAC FINDER. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and authorized to request work for the property.

2. The service

We use the information you provide to look for one HVAC company that may fit your location and job. We may be paid for an introduction. A match is advertising and a potential introduction, not a recommendation, endorsement, ranking, diagnosis, or guarantee of qualifications.

3. Independent HVAC companies

HVAC companies are independent third parties, not our employees, agents, or partners. We do not control their availability, advice, inspections, estimates, prices, financing, contracts, schedules, permits, safety practices, workmanship, warranties, or customer service. Any service agreement is solely between you and the company.

4. Your due diligence

Before authorizing work or payment, verify licensing, insurance, references, equipment specifications, load calculations when appropriate, permits, rebates, warranties, payment terms, and the complete contract. You decide whether to hire a company.

5. No estimates or guarantees from us

Website information and form scoring are preliminary. We do not guarantee a match, response time, availability, diagnosis, price, energy savings, rebate eligibility, schedule, equipment performance, workmanship, or outcome. An HVAC company may need an on-site inspection before giving advice or a final estimate.

6. Emergencies and safety

Do not use the service for life-safety emergencies. Call 911 when appropriate. If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, see fire or smoke, or face another immediate hazard, leave the area and contact emergency services, the utility, or other appropriate authority. Do not rely on a form submission for an urgent response.

7. Contact permission

When you affirmatively check the consent box and submit, you ask HVAC FINDER and one HVAC company matched to your request to contact you using the method you selected about that job. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of buying services. This request does not authorize artificial- or prerecorded-voice calls or automated marketing texts; a caller must obtain any additional consent required by law. You may revoke permission for future communications, including by replying STOP to texts when available.

8. Information you provide

You represent that your submission is accurate, concerns you or a property you may act for, and may lawfully be used for this purpose. Do not submit another person's contact information without permission or include payment credentials, government identifiers, passwords, or unlawful content. You grant us a limited right to process and disclose the submission as described in the Privacy Policy and as needed to provide the service.

9. Acceptable use

You may not submit false or abusive requests; impersonate another person; scrape, resell, reverse engineer, overload, or interfere with the service; bypass security; introduce malicious code; or use the service in violation of law or another person's rights.

10. Intellectual property

The website, branding, text, graphics, software, and other content are owned by HVAC FINDER or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the site for a personal service request. No other rights are granted.

11. Availability and third-party links

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the service. Third-party sites and providers have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and matching service are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and warranties arising from course of dealing. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HVAC FINDER will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or damages arising from an HVAC company's acts, omissions, services, or contract. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes, severability, and entire agreement

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding use of the website.
